JSAT is a scholarly and professional journal published once a year by the Directorate of Research, Human Rights and Gender, Laikipia University. JSAT is dedicated to original scientific research whether pure or applied in the various aspects of Science and Technology. It provides a platform for multidisciplinary and policy related research. Established by Laikipia University’s Research, Human Rights and Gender Directorate in conjunction with the School of Science and Applied Technology (SSAT), it aims at advancing knowledge production in the natural sciences for social transformation of the society. One of its main objectives is to promote policy-oriented research. All articles published by JSAT are refereed in external peer review. The opinions expressed in JSAT are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of Laikipia University.
